Hawaiian Airlines presents
ALOHA FOR PHILIPPINES MAHALO CONCERT
December 28, 2013
$25 - $50
While the devastation and destruction left by Typhoon Haiyan has been heartbreaking to watch, the show of community support has been inspiring. People across Hawaii have come together for the greater good and to demonstrate to the world, and especially our friends and families in the Philippines, what the ALOHA spirit is all about.
The purpose of the Aloha For Philippines Mahalo Concert is to raise money for disaster victims while thanking those who have generously contributed their time, money and energy to this relief effort.
The Mahalo Concert, produced by Emme Tomimbang Multi-Media Enterprises (EMME Inc.), has a line-up of star-studded recording artists of Filipino ancestry, including Broadway vocalist Kristian Lei, who played the lead role in Miss Saigon; Jasmine Trias of American Idol fame; Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Little Albert; and Grammy Award winner Pauline Wilson, formerly with the jazz/fusion Seawind band.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Filipino Community Center (FilCom Center), which will contribute its donations to the Consuelo Foundation. Consuelo Foundation has generously pledged to match all FilCom Center donations, up to $2 million.
Special MAHALO to all our Aloha For Philippines Corporate Partners: American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaiian Electric, HEI, HMSA, and Island Insurance Companies. Maraming maraming salamat po. Thank you.
There is a $3.00 Theatre Restoration Fee on all tickets.
