Hawaii Theatre Center presents

May 25, 2013

Hawaii Theatre is celebrating its 90th anniversary in high style with a gala event reminiscent of the era in which the Theatre made its debut.  With the sophistication of a high-society speakeasy (sans the bootlegged spirits), our annual gala will be a  lively evening of fine food, great jazz and dancing! We are bringing our annual black-tie gala back to Bethel Street with An Evening of Gatsby Glamour on Saturday, May 25, 2013.  Guests will have the opportunity to choose from three different dining venues for the dinner portion of the event: Hawaii Theatre catered by renowned Chef Peter Merriman, Bank of Hawaii’s Surf Rider Room and Duc’s Bistro on Maunakea Street.  Following dinner, guests will be treated to entertainment, dancing and champagne on the red carpet on Bethel Street in front of the Theatre.  A live auction and finale entertainment inside the Theatre will complete the evening.

Guests are encouraged to dress in the attire of the roaring ’20s, so find your best flapper girl dress and zoot suit and get ready to dance the night away!

Reserve your table today or contact Angela Britten at or 791-1302 for table information and reservations.
