Na Mele o na Keiki (Music for the Children) is an annual holiday concert (this is the 5th annual show) presented free of charge by U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific and BAE Systems, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii.  It features the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Pacific Band performing holiday favorites with a variety of guest artists, which this year include the “Flyin’ Hawaiian” Henry Kapono, jazz singer Ginai, ukulele sensation Aidan James, jazz/blues guitarist Chris Vandercook, Hawaiian musicians The Abrigo Ohana and Latin/Salsa musicians Son Caribe.  The concert is the Marine Corps’ gift to the community, and is also an opportunity to support the Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots Hawaii effort.

Marines will be on hand the afternoon of the show to accept donations of new, unwrapped toys or cash; every toy donated and every dollar donated to purchase toys stays in Hawaii to make the holidays brighter for Hawaii’s less-fortunate keiki.

Tickets may be picked up in person at the Hawaii Theatre Box Office Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
