A week of celebration of Hawaii Theatre Center’s 95th Anniversary comes to an end with a free film offered to the community as a sentiment of the theatre’s appreciation and gratitude! The featured film is Dreamworks’ animated, family-friendly film, Shark Tale.

Plot Summary:
The sea underworld is shaken up when a great white shark, Frankie (Michael Imperioli), is found dead and a young, pint-sized fish named Oscar (Will Smith) is found at the scene. An underachiever and a bottom feeder, Oscar takes advantage of the situation and concocts a story with Frankie’s peace-loving brother Lenny (Jack Black) that it was he who murdered Frankie, hailing Oscar as “Sharkslayer” by his aquatic brethren. However, Oscar soon comes to realize that his claim may have serious consequences from Frankie’s father, mob boss, Don Lino (Robert De Niro). (2004) Run Time: 90m

All ages permitted.
