Mele Kalikimaka with Henry Kapono & Friends A live stream concert to benefit the Henry Kapono Foundation Ending a challenging year on a positive note with Friends and Good Times Together, Henry Kapono announces a new Henry Kapono & Friends signature concert in a new format. “Mele Kalikimaka with Henry Kapono & Friends” features the legendary Henry Kapono with some of Hawaii’s most iconic artists in a fun packed and classic filled Holiday concert. Presented by First Hawaiian Bank and with special support from Carolyn Berry Wilson and Outrigger Hotels and Resorts, the Mele Kalikimaka concert featured artists include Hawaii Legends and multiple award winners Jerry Santos, Ledward Kaapana, Sistah Robi Kahakalau, Kapena, Alx Kawakami & the Luther Vandross of Hawaii, 6x 2020 Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winner, Josh Tatofi. The first ever Henry Kapono & Friends livestream event will be filmed at the majestic Hawaii Theatre Center and presented on their inhouse streaming platform. HKF swiftly adjusted its programing focus and created the “We are Friends” giving program, providing close to $175,000 in Foodland gift cards to Hawaii’s professional music families in need.
