Chelsea Handler is a comedian, television host, best-selling author and advocate whose humor and candor have established her as one of the most celebrated voices in entertainment and pop culture. After a strong seven-year run as the host of E!’s top-rated Chelsea Lately, a tenure in which Handler was the only female late-night talk show host on-air, she launched her documentary series Chelsea Does followed by her talk show Chelsea on Netflix in 2016. She has penned six best-selling books, five of which have reached #1 on the New York Times Bestseller list, including 2019’s Life Will Be the Death of Me. Most recently, she released her first stand-up special in over 6 years, the critically acclaimed Chelsea Handler: Evolution on HBO Max, and launched her iHeart Radio advice podcast, Dear Chelsea. In 2021, Chelsea embarked on the Vaccinated and Horny Tour, bringing her sensational stand-up set to 40+ cities across the nation.
All attendees must provide either a negative COVID-19 test result (taken within 48 hours of the event), or provide proof of full vaccination prior to entry.
o The Hawaii Theatre is responsible for verifying either vaccination status or negative test result for ALL attendees, and will be the final decision makers on the acceptability of any documentation provided by a patron.
o People are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 when more than two weeks has passed since receiving the second dose in a two dose series, or more than two weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine. A completed vaccination card (which includes name of person vaccinated, type of vaccine provided and date last dose administered) in original, photocopied, or digital form; or other similar vaccination documentation from a healthcare provider are acceptable proof of vaccination. The Hawaii Theatre will use digital databases to collect the above acceptable proof of vaccination prior to the event.
o Prior to entry, each non-vaccinated attendee must present a negative result from an FDA EUA or approved molecular or an antigen test conducted within 48 hours before the event start time.
o Failure to provide the required proof prior to the event, or on the day of the event, will result in refusal of entry to the event. All ticket sales are non-refundable. Tickets will not be refunded if patron is refused entry or removed from the venue for failure to follow guidelines are required by the City & County of Honolulu under the Tier 5 re-opening orders.
The Hawaii Theatre takes the health and safety of our guests, performers and staff with the untmost level of seriousness. In order for the Theatre to reopen to the public, we must follow the guidlines published by the City and County of Honolulu. We are asking for your support and attention to these rules so that we may continue to serve as Hawaii's premier performing arts venue.
